Chancey is a mom to four (ages 1-14) and has been on her homeschooling journey for several years. She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Austin Peay University. Her hobbies include reading and teaching DISCO classes such as Storytelling, Fun and Games, Student Government, and Nursery/Pre-k activities.
As our enthusiastic and dedicated DISCO Director, Chancey is passionate about creating a community for inclusive homeschoolers and strives to make DISCO a fun and welcoming place for everyone to learn. She oversees all classes and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Amanda is a mom to four boys (ages 8-13) and has been on her homeschooling journey for six years. She has a B.S. in Natural Resource Management with a focus in Wildlife Biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her hobbies include hiking, birdwatching, and designing amigurumi crochet patterns.
As Co-Director, Amanda works closely with the Director to oversee the co-op's operations and contribute to its growth and development. She is our go-to person for all things organization, coordinating important group events and meetings with ease. Amanda also creates our handbook and all DISCO designs!
